Innervisions

August, 14 2013 | Eddie's Attic

Wednesday, August 14th. Eddie’s Attic. TWO SHOWS 7:30pm & 10:00pm. Stevie Wonder’s Innervisions.

Probably could just stop right there, you know? But allow us to flesh it out a little bit. In 1973, Mr. Wonder (who are we to call him Stevie?) released Innervisions, his 16th studio album. Considered by many to be not only his greatest work but also one of the greatest works by anyone. Yeah, anyone.

So we’re bringing it to you. And we’ve asked the supremely talented Adron to curate this one. She’s enlisted Donnie Johnson, The Shadowboxers, and a man you might recall named Micah Dalton to bring it.

This is our first presentation of Stevie Wonder, and it’s going to be nothing short of spectacular. Do the right thing and mark it in your datebook, procure your tickets, make all necessary arrangements.

Listen, there are plenty of puns involving words like wonder and vision we could make. We could even make bad jokes about this music’s ability to make a blind man see. But we don’t need to stoop. This one speaks for itself. So roll on over to Eddie’s on Aug 14th and let it speak to you.
